Former Spartans In The News From the Commercial Appeal 9/25... One of Vandy's most pleasant surprises
has been the gangbusters play of redshirt freshman linebacker Chris Marve of White Station. Marve has 26
tackles, tying him for 10th in the SEC. "We knew he was going to be a good player, but not
as quickly and efficiently as he has," Johnson said of Marve. "Chris is a very serious student of the game. He's
all business on the field, even during practice."
Chris had the
ESPN SPORTSCENTER #10 PLAY OF THE DAY last Saturday when he striped the ball from the Ole Miss offense on their 1 yard line
